Weisa — EP10 Journal
Lord Falco's murder — conspiracy held in trembling hands. Innocence sacrificed. 'How will I bury it?'
Character: Weisa
Episode: EP10: Clarity
I must hold my composure. I must stay calm even though I'm trembling. The curtain is being pulled back and I've been invited in to see what's behind it. But do I want to? What does this all mean? The murder of Lord Falco is blatantly a conspiracy. A conspiracy that I am now responsible to hold. Hold where and how I still don't know. But this is an invitation. That is for certain. Publia wouldn't present this to me if it wasn't for a greater reason. I choose to remember my trust in her. At this moment. I feel so foolish and starkly young for believing that Juramentum was built purely off of the innocents I love here. The innocence I see in the Kithgi. The innocence I see in Titus. Humble nobility. But empires are not built off of smiles and kindness. They are built off of hard decisions. Blood sacrifice. What must I sacrifice? Perhaps my innocence. How will I bury it?
