Home at last. It feels quite nice to be back in Juramentum. I missed my stall and the smell of fresh Arpo pies. It's been wonderful to get back in the kitchen. I didn't realize how my hands longed for pastry making or the faces of my many patrons smiling back at me in satisfaction. It's incredible to think that so many of them will never see the sights we have just embarked on. So many of them will live here for the rest of their days. Well, at least I hope so. It's jarring to really comprehend what the presence of Roth alludes to. Figulus says that this is her first visit here, which disturbs me. I know of the Battle of the Bloody Shores, as well as the Utini raid of many moons ago. And she did not appear then. So what kind of horror is approaching? It doesn't serve me well to think about these things too much, but best to journal them. Publia has welcomed me back with the warmest of arms. She was delighted to hear of the blood I spilled and also the blood I tasted. Smart girl, she told me with a proud grin. I spoke to her of the vision I had of the Utini and the rage I felt coursing through me. I think she could tell that I needed more training as we got right back into It. She nearly killed me last evening. It was quite fun. Did I mention yet? The figurelist told me he likes my face. So much to celebrate. So much to worry about too. Especially as awakening approaches yet again. May the light be upon all of us now.
