I knew that this island was going to test us in ways as we never expected. I knew there was going to be a great revealing of truths during this time here. I knew some of us might die and in the process give opportunity to those who remain to rise to the occasion. I knew all of this and at the end of the day, what I knew amounted to a great pile of oppo crap. The test I thought we were going to have was little more than a string game. We used to entertain the little ones in Pulex. The truths I expected to hear were fantasies built up in the worshipful minds of children and told then retold until those fantasies became fact. Ain't no one died yet what is still lily. So who knows? Often I've said that Thorn leaves the path and we simply have to follow it. Well, it's time to put some skin in the game and practice what I preach. I ain't went. I didn't want to blindly follow. But likewise, there is more to this test of faith than a few breathe words spoken resentfully to yet another group of would be grave robbers. I do not envy Tesserin the burden that she has borne these last two centuries. Make it to the end. Protect your companions and bring them home. Come back to Alba and hold it close. Those are my goals now. The one Give me strength to see this through to the end.
