Was every dream and desire in my adolescence. To grow our name, our reputation, and secure my place in history. Now I fear not for my life, but for my company and that faith that they rest on my shoulders. The island feels alive. It challenges, repels and assesses all that will find it, all that inhabit it. Will it find me wanting? Will it find me just? Will he find my light worthy? The celebration on the beach caught the attention of an inhabitant. Avad is one of the emirates by expression and sound. We struck an agreement for safe passage for departure. I do not trust him. Nor do I trust the soil beneath my feet. I used to welcome the ignorance of my fate in exchange for excitement. However, now my fate is bound to this island, to my company, to our people, and ultimately, to Geramentrum. I have been told my blood has weight. The truth is that all of my value is our people's hope. That hope is my incorruptible fate.
