Dignitas

The seventh base stat for patrician characters. Far more than social prestige — Dignitas has quasi-supernatural force. 'She pins you with some of her dignitas and infuses the gaze with some of her weight.' Characters with high dignitas project an almost physical force that can be felt, resisted, or submitted to. Can be rolled against as a saving throw. Connected to the Veils/Zosh — Titus's bloodline dignitas has 'almost taken on a life of its own' through generations of accumulated authority. 59+ references across the corpus.
