Character: La'Calla
Episode: GGR3-09: Veritas Invicta, Part 1
I've come to understand that most here in the world of muscle and blood are born of a female womb. If you can say I was born, it was not of a womb. Hatched may be more accurate, fashioned by my maker and yet I carry in my soul a depth of memory that stretches far beyond the span of my physical life. I know things I have not learned. I feel connections I have not made. The priestess Zinnea calls me a miracle. Lord Titus calls me kin. The water worker Devran looks at me with an expression I cannot name. I do not know what I am, precisely. But I know what I am for. The true age must begin. These are the words that echo within me as surely as the rhythm of the rains. And if I must be the herald of that age, then let the song I sing be worthy of the task. For I have met the people of Juramentum now. And they are worth singing for.
