About Darkeport Productions
A dark fantasy storytelling studio. Creators of Gold, Green and Red, an 88-episode completed TTRPG actual-play series set in the World of Terra. Built at a table by a combat medic turned Game Master and eight players who trusted each other enough to build a world worth defending.
Where It Began
It began at a table. Not a writers' room, not a studio, not a pitch meeting. A kitchen table where eight friends sat down to play a game and accidentally built a world worth defending.
Angel Gammel, the World Creator and Game Master behind Gold, Green and Red, is a combat medic. The world of Terra did not come from a textbook on fantasy worldbuilding. It came from lived experience: from the inside of a field hospital, from the dust of Iraq, from the specific and unforgettable knowledge of what human beings do to one another when the machinery of empire is set in motion. And from the equally specific knowledge that people, even inside that machinery, refuse to stop caring for each other.
That refusal is the spine of everything Darkeport makes. The Dream of Juramentum, a city founded on three principles: Slavery Forbidden, Literacy Legal, All Peoples Equal, is not a fantasy. It is an argument. The same argument Angel carried home from the war and put into the world of Terra: that the most dangerous thing a person can possess is not a weapon. It is a dream worth defending.
The world of Terra is violent and the evil within it is both powerful and determined. Many of the themes and particular scenarios that unfold across this campaign come directly from lived experience. From the inside of a field hospital. From the dust of Iraq.

The Show
Gold, Green and Red is a completed dark fantasy TTRPG actual-play series spanning 88 live-play episodes across four series and nine story arcs. The campaign follows the Fellowship, eleven player characters whose lives become entangled with the fate of Juramentum, the only free city on the continent of Camaranthus.
The series features 88 named NPCs, 14 deities across three competing theological systems, 171 lore entries, 63 mapped locations, and 75 in-world journals written by the players in character. The original soundtrack includes 20+ compositions by Emmy Award-winning musician Steve Gernes, with live cello and viola performances. "Rise of the Sikadrako" has surpassed 255,000 YouTube views.
GGR is one of the only actual play series in the space that is both completed and fully documented. The Darkeport Universe Hub, an AI-powered interactive lore wiki, makes every character, location, deity, and event searchable and browsable. A 176-page World Setting Book has been produced from the campaign's lore.
What We Stand For
A stage for creators
We built Darkeport to be more than a show. We built it to be a stage. A place where up-and-coming creators can be seen, heard, and showcased. Actors, artists, musicians, writers, and storytellers who might not have access to traditional industry pipelines deserve a platform that takes their work seriously. The Dream endures because new voices keep it alive.
Dark fantasy as a promise
Dark fantasy is not a content warning. It is a promise that what happens in this world has weight. The choices cost something real. The darkness is not decorative. It serves the story by making the light matter.
Open world-building
The World Setting Book is being released under an open license, making Terra's world systems available to the community. We believe the best worlds are the ones other people can build inside.
The Production Team
Angel Gammel
World Creator, Lead Writer & Game Master. The narrative architect of Juramentum. Eighty-eight episodes of live world-building across hundreds of hours. A combat medic who carried what he learned home and poured it into a world where the cost of everything is measured honestly. This world came from him. The players built it with him. The audience witnessed it becoming real.
Corey Segall
CEO & Executive Producer. A three-time founder with twenty-plus years of executive leadership across organizations spanning digital transformation, FinTech, blockchain, and agentic AI, with prior roles at Dell, Rackspace, Wipro, and Vertalo. As CEO and Executive Producer, he brings the infrastructure, the strategic clarity, and the business architecture to match Gold, Green and Red's creative ambition. Also CEO of ChangeEnable, an AI-augmented delivery consultancy. At the table, he played Merick Touchgem and Devran.
Justin Roush
CTO & Head Producer. Where Angel builds the world and Corey drives the vision, Justin makes it real. As CTO and Head Producer, he oversees all aspects of production: the visual direction, the technical pipeline, the atmosphere and tone that audiences experience on screen.
Jon Smith
Art Director. The visual architect of Terra. From the ice-blue phoenix crest to the poppy-field Fellowship, from the Juramentum city map to eleven character portraits that capture the soul of each player's creation: Jon defines what the world of Terra looks like.
Steve Gernes
Music Director, Emmy Award-Winning Composer. Twenty-plus original compositions with live cello by Ro Rowan and live viola and violin by Kiara Ana. "Rise of the Sikadrako" has surpassed 255,000 YouTube views. The soundtrack is available on BandCamp.
Caitlyn Rogers
Social Media Director. The voice of Darkeport across every platform. Caitlyn builds and nurtures the community that keeps the Dream visible. She also plays La'Calla at the table.
Toby Rogers
Operational Support Director. The operational backbone that keeps Darkeport running behind the scenes. He also plays Grip at the table: half-dragon, full commitment.
Melissa Wykes
Head Community Moderator & Terrain/Mini Painter. Melissa keeps the Darkeport community safe, welcoming, and engaged. She also brings Terra into the physical world: hand-painting terrain and miniatures. At the table, she plays Rasinia, secret bodyguard to Lady Lucretia Vale.
The Cast
The Fellowship was not written. It was performed into existence across hundreds of hours of improvised collaborative storytelling by a cast of experienced actors who trusted each other, trusted the world, and trusted that what was happening at the table was worth sharing.
Donny Hyland (Titus), Randy Ruiz (Marcus), Corey Segall (Merick/Devran), Tatiana Fontalvo (Weisa), Anika VanBoom (Catryn), Ali Tate Cutler (Nilishli), Toby Rogers (Grip), Sydney Vawter (Mithra), Melissa Wykes (Rasinia), Caitlyn Rogers (La'Calla).
By the Numbers
The world of Terra does not need to be invented. It needs to be rendered.
